About Me

about

Hello! My name is Dhruva, and after a four-year journey through black mold poisoning and long-held relational trauma, I share these somatic therapeutic practices with great reverence.

I was raised in a meditation ashram in Ganeshpuri, India, and the Catskill Mountains of New York, USA. The focus of my life was empowered by yogic practice and mindset philosophies. However, it wasn’t until a life-threatening sickness emerged in my life that I was able to come into a truly embodied sense of being.

No matter how much study and application I made, somehow I would always self-sabotage the potential of any project or romantic relationship. From this, I learned that healing is not a linear process, and no matter how much cognitive-behavioral therapy, stoic practices embodied, or chanting saptas attended, trauma that lives in the unconscious will have its way.

With utmost respect and humility, I share these body-based psychotherapeutic practices to support revelation, healing, and a celebratory embodiment of the lived experience.
